SUMMARY:Women Leaders: From Pipeline to Power
DESCRIPTION:We Are Back!\nThe Women’s Legacy and Leadership (WLL) Collective will convene our second gathering to promote getting more women into the political pipeline at this consequential time. \nThis WLL event focuses on the role women commissioners and other women leaders play in that vital work. \nHistorically\, women leaders on the County of Santa Barbara Commission for Women have been a driving force behind getting women in the political pipeline and elevating women to elective and appointed office. What we appreciate is how so many powerful women leaders in all sectors of civic and governmental offices have worked to assist women commissioners to improve the lives of women\, girls\, and families across our county. \nJoin us for a powerful conversation between Santa Barbara County women leaders\, past and present\, as they address the current state and future prospects of women in government and what we all can do to create change. \nWhen: Thursday\, May 8\, 2025 5:30-7:30pm  \n(Refreshments will be served – Private residence in Hope Ranch)  \nREGISTER FOR LOCATION
